Your crossfit total is the sum of your max back squat, max shoulder press, and max deadlift. If your total is five times your bodyweight, you have good strength. If your crossfit total is 6 times your body weight, then you have uncanny, almost unheard of strength. Any kind of squatting will help your max back squat.
